Mozilla Firefox Vs Internet Explorer
There are several popular web browsers freely and publicly available today. To name a few: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome. There is a limited selection of other browsers provided by commercial enterprises.
Until January, 2009, the Microsoft Windows default web browser, Internet Explorer, had the lead in popularity, with 45.7% of all Internet users connecting with it, comparable to Mozilla Firefox's 44.4% of users. Firefox overtook Internet Explorer in January, 2009 with 45.5% to Internet Explorer's 44.8%. Internet Explorer never made a comeback and the gap continues to increase in size. Why the switch? What you're really asking yourself right now, if you've never had the opportunity to partake in the usage of Mozilla Firefox (henceforth referred to as FF) as compared to earlier usage of Internet Explorer (IE), is why is FF so much better than IE? There are a lot of factors that can really put the facts into perspective. Let's take a look at some of the main ones:Security
Mozilla Firefox's prime feature is the fact that it has built-in security features that immensely surpass those of Internet Explorer. If you wish to feel confident and safe with personal and financial information while on the Internet, you simply must use FF. In a side-by-side study of FF vs IE in the security field, FF prevented almost five times the number of security threats as IE.
Speed
Everybody wants speed. If you say that you couldn't care less about speed pertaining to surfing the web, you're lying. The fact of the matter is, Firefox is just so much faster than Internet Explorer it's not even funny. There are several reasons for why this is, but to put it simply FF gives the users ability to fine-tune the number, speed and bandwith of your networking tunnels, allowing for speeds more than twice that of IE's.
Ease of Use
Maybe it's just me, but when I compare the graphical user interface (GUI) of Firefox as compared to Internet Explorer, it's like comparing a hammer and nail to a Computer Controlled Laser Cutter. Anyone can simply pick up the hammer, and start banging away at the nail and the job will get done efficiently and quickly, whereas the laser cutter may require some sort of training. Still not convinced? There is one more feature in particular that I feel the need to devote an entire paragraph to - that would be the addons feature for Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer attempted to replicate this within their own browser... but to say the least it failed miserably. Firefox addons are easy to fine, easy to install, and easy to use. Plus, you can develop your own and add them the huge collection of user-created addons with ease, a very nice feature. Delete saved accounts on Firefox?
I hate the feature of saving accounts on Firefox and i accidently clicked remember password for Gmail. Now every time i open the Gmail Window/site, it would already be filled with info i dont want to be there. I always do the CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE to clear all data in firefox but it doesnt clear the saved info. went into options and turned it off and it did work, but none of the previous sites i went on such as youtube and google is saved. Is there anyway to delete my account data without changing major settings.
